The classic games might be still successful nowadays not only for the nostalgia, but maybe due to their simplicity. Octagon was developed based on the key concept that there is no need for greater graphic details, only enough to keep the player's attention and challenge his skills and intelligence. The result is a simple but hypnotic racing environment, where an octagon is the only moveable piece which should be guided without falling to the vacuum, using the WASD keys to turn or even invert gravity as the track grows in both difficulty and distortion, apparently dragging the whole world around.
